We have an exciting opportunity within our Agriculture team for a Head of Agri Estates. The role involves setting standards for construction and equipment, following up and overseeing all projects, managing the new build pipeline to ensure facilities for the business needs, and ensuring that all assets under Pilgrims Europe management meet contractual and operational standards that fulfil the business needs across Northern Ireland & Great Britain.

The Head of Agri Estates will also be responsible for managing and developing a pipeline for new farm development across two generations to meet business forecasts, maintaining active relationships with contract growers, and developing business cases with potential investors for new farm developments. The role also includes managing all FBT leases and PRA contracts.

Candidates for this role must have an excellent knowledge of poultry, and knowledge of pork would also be beneficial. A good understanding of finance, including cash flow before the sale of projects, and the ability to develop long-term relationships with potential investors are essential. Excellent negotiation skills, the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, an understanding of internal accounts and planning processes, and compliance and customer requirements are also required.
