Flexible KS2 Teachers required for Wirral primary schools from May half-term and September, full and part-time

Your new company
Hays Education work with over 65% of Wirral primary schools and is the only agency with two dedicated consultants servicing the Wirral area, due to the high demand for cover teachers from our schools.
We are currently working with schools on a daily basis across the Wirral, including in Wallasey, Birkenhead, Bebington, Bromborough, Eastham, Moreton, Hoylake, Heswall, West Kirby, to provide last minute and advance-booked supply teaching cover, and also longer term cover positions starting from May half-term and in September.

Your new role
We are looking for flexible and dedicated KS2 school teachers to join our team of professional and reliable educators. We have work available in various schools across the Wirral, covering classes from Year 3 to Year 6, including PPA cover, intervention and booster-based work. Work available includes daily and short-term cover assignments, as well as longer-term positions, and may be full or part-time, depending on your availability. We currently have positions available starting after May half-term and also from September 2024.
In all roles you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons that meet the needs of all pupils and the school’s expectations, and may be required to plan and assess work depending on the role.
You will also be expected to follow the school’s policies and safeguarding procedures, and maintain a positive and respectful attitude at all times.
What you'll need to succeed
To be eligible for Wirral KS2 teaching work you must have:
A recognised teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent)A valid DBS check (or be willing to apply for one)A minimum of 6 months of UK teaching experience in the last 2 years, including teaching in KS2 classesA flexible and adaptable approach to teachingA strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and assessment frameworksExcellent communication and organisational skillsReliability, dedication and professionalism at all times
