This Housing Association is looking to hire for a Data Governance Manager to introduce a new data framework and structure, working with autonomy across the business.

You will join to be a visible Data Governance Manager tasked with mapping out where the business is at in terms of data. You’ll find out how the business is operating, and your key focus will be to agree, document, and put in place a corporate framework for their data maturity model.

As Data Governance Manager you will look at data management, governance, security (working with the cyber security lead), effective data analysis. The role will work with internal systems teams, as well as being out in the business to work with other senior managers to map out their requirements with data and put the tools in place to utilise data.

You would set the foundations for data and then oversee the successful delivery of data strategy, improvements, and projects. This is a brand-new autonomous role with a broad remit impacting all areas of the group.

The role has got great backing at an exec level the business looks to put data at the heart of all they do, so this is a great opportunity to make a real impact and drive meaningful change across the tech department.

You would be a great fit as Data Governance Manager if you have:

  • Helped to shape a new Data Quality Framework. The end goal is to corporately agree and document a corporate framework data maturity model, so examples of where you have worked on data strategy and frameworks.
  • This role will look at data management, governance, security (working with cyber lead), and allow for effective data analysis.
  • Understanding of data quality modelling around housing. Worked with data strategy for housing assets and customer/tenant data.
  • Demonstrated where you have taken data from ‘as-is’ to ‘future-state’.
  • Familiarity with HACT UK Housing Data Standards

This role is remote but you must be based in the UK and able to very occasionally get to the office.

The salary on offer is £55,000 to £60,000 with some great benefits.
