Top Job Recruitment are looking for a Mortgage and Protection Adviser for a company based in Colchester, Essex.
- 5 day working week, including Saturdays (1/2)
- Working hours of 9-6.
- 4 weeks holiday per annum, plus Bank Holidays
- Basic Income £25-£30k dependent upon experience.

As a Mortgage and Protection Adviser you will provide quality mortgage advice to clients of the company in the Southeast of England. To identify the best products for our existing client bank, as well as new introduced customers, and tailor mortgage and protection solutions accordingly. To service the clients needs thoroughly, and provide advice in a professional, compliant, and efficient manner, whilst achieving minimum standards of performance across all key areas expected of an adviser. Sales would be split between being conducted via Zoom, and telephone based, with the flexibility of providing appointments in the evening, and on Saturdays.
Mortgage and Protection Adviser Job Role
- Responsibility to address all clients financial needs and recommend and arrange a suitable package of solutions within a set sales process.
- Responsibility to ensure that all sales are conducted in an efficient, compliant manner, and in accordance with Companys compliance process.
- To respond quickly and positively to any request from a department or Manager and demonstrate flexibility in approach to work where this is required.
- Assisting the Management where required with the continual development of strong relationships with the Companys key introducers
- Always conducting business and acting in a way that represents the company and the ethos of the company well at all times.
- Achievement of minimum Key Performance Indicators in all aspects of written and banked business
- Achievement of minimum compliance standards as laid out by the Company, and its regulators, and adherence to the principle of Treating Customers Fairly.
- Finalising cases and administrating paperwork within set deadlines
- Liaising with an excellent existing client bank, in placing and retaining remortgage and purchase business
Mortgage and Protection Adviser Skills Required
- CeMAP qualification (or industry recognised equivalent)
- Team player, able to effectively interact with all departments
- Ability to work well under pressure, and within tight deadlines
- Efficient and organised
- Target-driven
- Client-focused
- Highly compliant
- Good communication skills both oral and written
- Good IT skills
