An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Immigration Paralegal to join a fantastic full-service city law firm on a permanent basis.

The Team

The team sits within the firm’s private client practice and is responsible for providing immigration advice and assistance to clients from HNWI to large companies. The team additionally works closely with the firm’s M&A group, assisting with corporate transactions and immigration needs.

The successful Immigration Paralegal will have the opportunity to join a growing practice undertaking high-quality corporate and private client immigration work and the opportunity to secure a training contract with the firm in the future

Core Responsibilities

  • Complete immigration application forms and draft submission letters.
  • Book and arrange payment for application appointments.
  • Compile client due diligence and prepare engagement letters.
  • Assist the corporate and M&A group with the immigration aspects of corporate transactions.
  • Reconciliation of credit card transactions with the fees paid for immigration applications.
  • Review and assess the eligibility of jobs for sponsorship under the immigration system to advise corporate clients.
  • Prepare application packs for clients.

About you:

  • Law degree or equivalent qualification essential.
  • Previous Immigration Paralegal experience is essential.
  • Understanding of business and sponsorship-based immigration routes.
  • Experience in preparing sponsorship applications and work visas.
