What this role is all about:As a Senior Performance Marketing Analyst, your input will be crucial in supporting annual, quarterly and in-month marketing investment choices across above-the-line and digital channels. You will seek to find optimisation opportunities across direct-to-consumer and direct-to-business campaigns, working alongside internal Digital Performance, Brand Activation, SEO, CRO and Data Science teams as well as with our performance marketing and econometrics agencies.This role is suited to digital professionals with 5+ years of hands-on experience in marketing analytics, working with web analytics, paid search, social and display data sets. You will be passionate about marketing effectiveness, with a test & learn mindset and play a committed role in helping to achieve leads, sales and ROI targets.Key Actions
  • Work together with our media agency for effective campaign measurement to define, measure, and evaluate paid media KPIs
  • Work with marketing and agency teams to integrate analytical insights into prospecting and retargeting strategies and campaign development
  • Manage performance reporting with insights & commentary around what our data is telling us about further opportunities, market trends and competitor activity
  • Provide structure to the experimentation strategy by contributing data-informed hypotheses, defining success criteria and advising stakeholders on timescales & statistical methodology
  • Oversee the inputs and evolution of our media mix models produced by our econometrics agency
  • Monitor the conversion performance of key landing pages, pre-sales acquisition journeys and online quote funnels to highlight areas for improvement
  • Oversee the applications for first party data and exploration of new data sources that would enhance target audiences and our understanding of the marketing landscape
  • Maintain the integrity of digital data, conducting regular reviews as necessary to ensure all data and reports are accurate, robust & reliable
Essential Skills needed to fulfil this role:
  • 5+ years of marketing analytics experience in paid media at an agency or brand
  • Experienced user of Google Analytics 4
  • Excellent SQL skills and data manipulation using Big Query, querying digital marketing data sets
  • Hands-on experience of working with Search Ads 360 data
  • Comfortable using data visualisation tools to build reporting views – Looker Studio and Power BI
  • Commercially astute - highly numerate, analytical and driven by ROI targets
  • Evidence of a proactive approach to self-improvement and up to date industry knowledge
  • Good relationship skills and able to connect with and communicate effectively at all levels
