Cedarwood Digital are an award-winning performance marketing agency based in Manchester City Centre and we are hiring for an SEO Manager to drive forward our currently expanding SEO offering, taking ownership over our SEO function, driving strategy and mentoring the team to deliver the best possible SEO results for our clients

We're a small agency (12 staff) so you would work as part of a close knit team to drive forward our SEO department which we are looking to grow over the next few years.

Responsibilities:

  • Create effective SEO strategies across a range of clients and verticals
  • Develop and execute effective SEO strategies to improve organic search ranking and visibility
  • Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify target keywords and search intent
  • Analyze website traffic data and identify areas for improvement
  • Liaise with our clients as a main point of contact
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest SEO trends and algorithm updates
  • Collaborate with web developers and content creators to ensure website is SEO-friendly
  • Monitor and report on SEO performance metrics, including keyword rankings, website traffic, and conversions
  • Manage and mentor a team of currently 2 x SEO/Content specialists
  • Contribute towards SEO proposals through auditing clients websites.

Skillset:

  • 3 years+ experience in SEO
  • Proven track record of success in improving website traffic and organic search rankings
  • Strong understanding of SEO best practices, including on-page SEO, off-page SEO, and technical SEO
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret website traffic data
  • Experience with keyword research tools and SEO software
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Confidence to manage and develop a team
  • A passion for digital marketing and a strong understanding of the ever-evolving SEO landscape
  • Confidence liaising with clients
  • Ability to audit and analyse new business websites.

Salary: £30-£40k DOE

We operate hybrid working from Manchester City Centre.
