What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead and supervise a design/project team of up to five engineers.
  • Oversee work allocation, quality, progress, and cost within the project.
  • Manage project subcontracts, client interactions, and internal communications.
  • Ensure safety compliance and foster a robust safety culture.
  • Handle all aspects of nuclear engineering projects from design to operator training.
  • Maintain project management responsibilities including quality, progress, and cost control.

What we want from you:

  • Degree in a relevant engineering discipline; working towards Chartership preferred.
  • Minimum five years’ experience in the nuclear industry.
  • Understanding of design requirements for nuclear safety cases.
  • Proficiency in two or more areas: mechanical handling, process instrumentation, machinery safety, functional safety, or LV distribution systems.
  • Experience in checking design documentation and leading technical teams.
