Key Responsibilities:

As a Quantity Surveyor with Mane Contract Services, you'll embark on an exciting journey, contributing to a wide array of civil engineering projects. Your role will encompass:

  • Demonstrated expertise across various civil engineering projects, including earthworks, road construction, drainage systems, and services installation.
  • Proficiently preparing Interim Applications and Final Accounts to ensure smooth project financial management.
  • Exercising your prowess in managing subcontractors and valuing their applications, with meticulous attention to certification of payments.
  • Monitoring cash flow and fostering clear communication channels with clients to ensure project success.
  • Active participation in commercial discussions at meetings, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  • Accountability for comprehensive cost management, including timely monthly reporting to senior management.
  • Crafting and maintaining weekly production monitors for labor, equipment, and material usage.
  • Implementation and oversight of detailed record-keeping procedures to uphold project integrity.
  • Preparation of monthly Cost Value Reports and precise take-offs, utilizing manual methods or cutting-edge Bluebeam software.
  • Proficiency in managing change control processes and valuing Compensation Events, ensuring project stability.
  • End-to-end management of project costs, from inception to fruition, ensuring optimal outcomes.
  • Procurement of subcontracting works and conducting thorough cost analyses to support decision-making.
  • Vigilant monitoring of actual costs against budgetary allocations, with proactive identification and resolution of discrepancies.
  • Expertise in NEC 3 Option B Contract and adept usage of CEMAR for streamlined operations.
  • Conducting thorough contract reviews and risk assessments, safeguarding project interests.
  • Providing valuable assistance on claim matters and contributing actively to resolution processes.
