Your Next Hire have partnered with a PE backed fin-tech start up as they look to navigate their next period of growth. Our mission is to revolutionise the way businesses handle their finances.

We have around 100 employees, mostly software developers and data scientists, and serve over 100,000 customers. We use modern tech and deliver updates frequently.

We're looking for an experienced Python Engineer to join our team, remotely or in London, help us on our growth journey by building a high performing team.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the software development team’s daily activities
• Work with different teams to create new features and products
• Conduct performance reviews and address any issues
• Help the company grow by building a strong team
• Develop new web application features using templates and standard protocols
• Work on backend services development
• Follow best engineering practices like CI/CD, QA, and code reviews
• Perform acceptance testing

Minimum Experience:

• Strong experience using Python
• Experience deploying to either AWS, Azure or GCP
• Experience designing complex data processing systems
• Skilled in writing clear code and conducting code reviews
• Willingness to learn new coding languages

Nice to Have:

• Experience with frameworks + libraries like AIOHTTP, FastAPI, etc.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL, MongoDB
• Experience working within a start-up
• have worked in a fin-tech or another highly regulated industry
