Interim Payroll Manager

SF are working with an international company based in Leicester City Centre who are searching for a Payroll Manager to join the department team on an initial interim basis working full time. This role requires an experienced Payroll professional with end to end payroll knowledge within a shared services environment. The role has the possibility of turning permanent but would also suit a professional contractor looking for a short to mid-term assignment.
Interim Payroll Manager
Day Rate: £250 - £300
Leicester City Centre
Full Time
Job duties:
- Ensuring accurate processing of wages, salaries, and other forms of compensation across the business.
- Managing the teams holiday approvals, appraisals and reviews, training and other ad hoc duties.
- Leading a successful payroll team ensuring they run, keeping them engaged, pro-active and instilling best business partnering practice.
- Providing insights and recommendations based on payroll data analysis.
- Addressing and resolving employee related to payroll and benefits
- Collaborating with HR and other departments to provide excellent customer service
- Ensuring that the BACS report, payroll summary and final analysis are reconciled and authorised.
- Generating and analysing payroll reports to support financial and management reporting
- Ensuring accurate and timely FPS and EPS submissions to HMRC
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Previous experience of payroll and people management required preferably in a high volume and/or Shared Services environment
- Strong IT skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience of iTrent
- Ability to perform complex payroll calculations
- US payroll processing & US legislation knowledge is desirable
