Our client is excited to offer a rewarding opportunity for a 3rd Line Support Technician to join their growing IT team.

The role is based at their Witney office but you will be required to travel to other offices therefore a full current driving license is required for the position.

You would be working with a diverse set of hardware and software technologies, providing support to users and delivering hardware and software projects that will benefit the company. This is a unique IT role that offers the successful candidate the opportunity to shine and progress their career.

The right candidate will probably have been employed in a vocation that requires a logical and methodical way of thinking to achieve goals and/or design solutions. This could have previously been in a software and/or hardware environment.

You will be joining an existing IT team of five, supporting a diverse userbase, reporting to the IT Manager.

Hours of Work: 9.00 am – 5.30 pm Monday to Friday

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Telephone, hands-on and remote support of the entire IT Infrastructure.
  • Monitoring and management of systems and processes used to protect the IT Infrastructure.
  • IT project development, management and delivery.
  • Document process maps, project plans and both technical and user documentation.
  • Any other duties to assist the Head of IT.
  • Ad-Hoc local travel between the other offices’ as and when required.

KEY SKILLS:

  • Desktop and Server Hardware
  • Hyper-V / VMware
  • Windows 10/11
  • MS Active Directory, MS Server 2022
  • MS365, MS Exchange, MS Office and SQL Server
  • PowerShell, Scripting and .Net
  • Visualfiles Case Management

This is an ideal role for someone who has at least 5 years technical experience and is looking for the next step in an organisation where they can make a real difference and have a great deal of exposure to a wide range of technologies.
