Tamworth

Starting £36,000 + Hybrid Working

A leading global retailer is looking to increase resource within the Supply Chain department and is looking for an experienced Demand Planner to aid with supply chain processes across various internal sectors.

Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to improve efficiency of the company supply chain – simplifying process where possible.
  • Plan production with suppliers and ensure the DC is operating at optimum capacity.
  • Ensure there is continuous availability of stock across the company to meet customer demand.
  • Managing full product journey from manufacturer to store arrival.
  • KPI management.
  • Placing orders daily with suppliers and managing the relationship across a number of suppliers across several different product areas – including temperature-controlled items.
  • Responsible for accurately forecasting data using sales analysis.
  • Support with the delivery of company/department strategies.
  • Collaborate with Buying, Merchandising and Logistics.

About You

  • Demonstrate an understanding of Logistics and Supply Chain
  • Proficient in Excel and Word
  • To analyse high levels of data
  • Ability to plan efficiently and be organised.
  • Initiative-taking
  • Be able to work in fast paced environment and adapt quickly.
  • Detail orientated.
  • Confident to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels.
  • Manage own workload.
