Salary:£64,000+dependent on skills and experience + car allowance What you’ll bedoing:
  • Implementingperformance frameworks across the business concentrating onmulti-functional collaboration to drive the strategy, operationalperformance and improvementplans Using your expertise in Finance Operations you willsupport the wider business on change programmes to ensure clearoutcomes with continuous improvement plans Working with the Sales and Operations function andsupporting the Finance Director in the integration activities andinterface/also acting as a conduit into our Finance CapabilityCentres Engaging cross functionally, with SeniorStakeholders, Managers and Budget Holders, to drive business changeand improvements.
  • Challenge and duediligence on new business activity to enable approval of pricingproposals and delivery of the business strategy balancing customerneed with maximising shareholdervalue Provide support to the Integrated OperationsDirectors and Senior Managers to further drive performanceimprovement

Your skillsandexperiences:

Essential

  • Qualified AccountantCIMA/ACCA/ACA Experience in supporting the delivery of long termcomplexprogrammes/projects
  • Demonstrate high levelsof political and culturalawareness Ability to deliver financial complexities tonon-Finance staff and to distil problems, opportunities andchallenges Analyse, summarise and present managementinformation to simplify complex business challenges and providerecommendations where needed Demonstrated ability to influence the business witha proactive and inquisitive nature, collaborating well acrossmultiplestakeholders Demonstrable experience in being able to respondquickly to changing and challenging customerrequirements

Desirable

  • Experience of workingin a manufacturing company and/or large PLCenvironment Experience in establishing and driving programmeperformance through integratedteams

Theteam: Reporting into the Finance Director you will beproviding support to the Integrated Operations area within the AirSector, which lies at the ‘heart’ of the business and has c.7,000employees who provide both Operational and Functional servicesacross the sector.

As the Finance Manager you will help integrate anddrive the overall Performance Framework across the business,ensuring there is consistency and standardisation in approach. Thiswill involve leading and managing a small team in the provision ofhigh-level information and business analysis to drive the strategy,operational performance, and improvementplans.
