Key Stage 2 Teacher – Year 4 Westminster

Location: WestminsterContract: Full-time / Temporary (potential to go permanent)Start date: September 2024
Your new schoolWe are working with a primary school, nestled in the heart of Westminster, who are seeking a passionate Year 4 Teacher.
With a two-form entry structure spanning Reception to Year 6, including its own nursery, this vibrant school provides a secure and nurturing environment.
Expectations for student conduct and academic achievement run high, consistently earning the school ‘Outstanding’ ratings in Ofsted inspections.
Your role as a Year 4 TeacherTeaching from planned objectives, which take account of differentiation to achieve progression in pupil’s learning, setting clear targets for pupils’ learning based on prior attainmentFulfil the School’s and National assessment, recording and reporting system as appropriateManage, with support, the work of Learning Support Assistants and other helpers in class to enhance children’s learningTake part fully in primary school duties such as supervising playtimes, taking whole school assemblies and class assemblies
What you will need to succeed for this Year 4 Teacher roleA successful candidate will:Must hold QTS statusHave recent experience of working in primary schools in the UKHave good interpersonal skillsShowing good standards of professionalism, being well-organised and capable of working with policy and procedure to agreed timescales.
