Senior ERP Support Analyst

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ERP Support Analyst to join our client’s dynamic team. This pivotal role involves providing top-tier support for the ERP applications portfolio, predominantly focusing on D365, alongside other crucial applications such as distribution, banking, and document management. You will also play a key role in mentoring and upskilling team members, as well as collaborating with both internal and external customers and development teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive ERP support to internal customers across the UK.
  • Provide expert 1st/2nd line software support for platforms managed by the ERP support team, including integrated applications.
  • Mentor and support team members, enhancing their knowledge and capabilities.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve the efficiency of the support team.
  • Ensure seamless ERP releases, updates, and change requests with minimal business disruption.
  • Administer and manage Dynamics AX & D365 systems.
  • Train end users on Dynamics AX & D365 and integrated applications.
  • Take ownership of user support, troubleshooting, and fault resolution, escalating issues when necessary.
  • Log, prioritize, and manage incidents, service requests, and change requests in the Service Desk Management tool and Azure Dev Ops.
  • Coordinate with external technical support and third-party suppliers to resolve complex issues.
  • Provide remote support for customer issues as needed.
  • Create, maintain, and publish support documentation, including 'How To' guides, to assist both customers and the IT team.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in ERP support, particularly with Dynamics AX & D365 Finance & Operations.
  • Strong mentoring and team development skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Service Desk Management tools and Azure Dev Ops is a plus.
