Overview of the Role
Performance marketing agency, Target, seeks to appoint a growth-focused and data-driven eCommerce Growth Strategist.
The perfect candidate will have experience working with DTC or eCommerce brands, be confident in writing strategy, solving problems and presenting on performance calls with our key eCommerce clients, supported by our in-house paid media and SEO experts.
A understanding of eCommerce marketing principles and metrics such as LTV & CAC are important.
The role may suit a candidate that has worked in-house at an eCommerce or DTC brand and wishes to move agency side to work with exciting clients such as MuscleFood, Prepped Pots, Elbow Grease & AgainFaster. The role may also be suited to a candidate with data analytics or paid media experience, wishing to move into a more strategic, client-facing role.
Key duties
- Analyse trading, customer and channel data to bring context to performance
- Write and oversee the implementation of eCommerce marketing strategy and channel strategies with clear KPIs and OKRs.
- Developing a deep understanding of our key clients’ businesses
- Presenting solutions to trading and marketing challenges in an agile manner
- Automating reports and presenting decks to our key clients with updates on their campaign results
- Identifying, flagging and course correcting any campaigns or deadlines that are at risk of missing KPIs/OKRs ahead of time.
Must have
- Past experience working with eCommerce or DTC brands either in-house, agency side or as a freelancer
- An ability to assimilate large amounts of information quickly
- Confident in presenting and compiling narrative-driven presentation decks
- Skilled at influencing and able articulate your ideas with conviction
- Confident saying ‘no’ and challenging the leadership team and our clients.
- Good data literacy analytical skills with proficiency in Excel/Sheets - VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, data analysis etc
