Our clients are some of the largest and most respected companies in the world.It's an exciting time to join our business because Crown offers you the opportunity to grow and develop your skills in an expanding industry.Crown was founded with the goal of valuing and promoting sustainability and this vision continues to be essential to our long-term future.About this opportunityThe position of Credit Controller for CMB Engineering, manages the Credit Control process for Crown’s sister company CarnaudMetalbox Engineering and will involve the collection of receivables from our valued Engineering clientele. In response to evolving business needs, the role will transition from Shipley to Wantage, where it will serve as the point of contact with the Engineering Commercial Team. This also means that the Credit Controller will be part of our wider SSC Finance Team at Wantage.   Main Responsibilities
•    Follow-up with customers for payments due
•    Coordinate regular meetings with the Engineering team to efficiently manage accounts receivable and mitigate instances of overdue payments
•    Develop and present cash forecasts for Group Treasury
•    Address and resolve customer inquiries ahead of scheduled payment dates
•    Factor eligible debts and perform month-end reconciliation
•    Produce reports on overdue balances for both month-end and mid-month reviews
•    Perform credit reviews on new and existing accounts
•    Clean up old debt outstanding on the ledger
•    Complete workflows for creating new customers in our ERP system, JDE
•    Ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley controls 
•    Allocate customer payments in the ERP system, JDERequired Qualifications and Experience 
•    Part or full qualified AAT, or CICM
•    Previous experience working in a finance / credit role 
•    Experience with finance systems (JDE / ARAS / SAP)Beneficial
•    Previous experience in a shared service function
•    Knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley (SOX)Required Skills and Competencies
•    IT Literate with an interest in finance systems
•    Advanced Excel Skills 
•    Ability to communicate effectively via phone and email
•    Ability to work and communicate effectively within a diverse cultural environment
•    Ability to complete tasks within deadlines
•    Good numeracy skills
•    Highly organised
