Role summary:

The job purpose of the Commercial Excellence Manager is to contribute towards driving profitability and sustainable growth through effective pricing strategies across Living Environmental Systems product and service offerings. You will play a pivotal role in analysing market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and customer behaviours to develop and implement pricing models that optimise revenue streams while ensuring competitive positioning.

Skills/Responsibilities:

  • Educated to degree level in an accountancy or finance related discipline is desirable.
  • Proven experience in pricing management, preferably in a commercial or strategic role within a relevant industry. Experience in conducting pricing analysis, developing pricing models, and implementing pricing strategies is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of various pricing methodologies such as cost-plus pricing, value-based pricing, competitive pricing, and dynamic pricing.
  • Ability to analyse market trends, competitive landscapes, and customer behaviours to identify pricing opportunities and threats.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, including cost structures, profitability metrics, and pricing elasticity.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations, market dynamics, and emerging trends affecting pricing strategies.
  • Competence in utilising data analytics tools and techniques to derive actionable insights for pricing decisions.
  • Capacity to develop and execute pricing strategies aligned with business objectives and market conditions.
  • Effective communication skills to articulate pricing recommendations, negotiate with stakeholders, and present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to identify pricing challenges, analyse root causes, and propose innovative solutions to optimise pricing performance.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, finance, and product teams to align pricing initiatives with broader business goals.
  • Keen attention to detail in analysing pricing data, monitoring pricing changes, and ensuring accuracy in pricing execution.
  • Flexibility to adapt pricing strategies in response to changing market dynamics, competitive pressures, and business priorities.
