As a result of our growing workload, Stantec are seeking to appoint an Electrical Engineer, or Senior Electrical Engineer, to join our Water sector team based in either our Birmingham, Derby or Redditch offices (with hybrid working allowing for a mix of home- and in-office working).

For those applying for the senior role, there will be opportunities for line management and also for mentoring more junior team members.

You will be involved in the whole project life cycle from optioneering through to detailed design and installation. You will also be involved with feasibility studies, site surveys and investigations. There are opportunities to work on a wide variety of projects including in water, wastewater, energy, infrastructure and environmental sectors.

ABOUT YOU

You will be an experienced Electrical Engineer with a Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related subject. You will ideally be our route to Chartership or Incorporated with experience of EICA design.

You will be experienced in writing technical specifications, control philosophies, schedules, reports and be familiar with collaborative reviews and designs of solutions.

You will be able to produce Single Line Diagrams, Block Cable Diagrams, Network Infrastructure Diagrams as well as providing engineering input to collaborative design outputs, such as General Arrangement Drawings, 3D models and Process & Instrumentation Diagrams.

Experience in the Water sector is an advantage but we would also be interested in speaking with candidates that have experience in the energy, infrastructure & environmental sectors.
