This role is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant contribution to Rotork’s performance in a critical supply spend category by leading major global and regional sourcing projects using a robust project management mindset.

Reporting to the Global Category Manager, you will be working as a global team delivering strategic objectives within procurement.

In this role you will be responsible for the regional management of the PCBA, electronics and motor categories, directly contribute to the development and delivery of a category vision, strategy and associated sourcing plans, develop strong relationships with the primary component manufactures to enable improved engagement for development, lifecycle management and concern escalation.

This role would suit an individual who can operate with minimal business direction and takes a ‘can do’ attitude towards problem solving issues such as cost reduction, process improvement and the reduction of supplier risk.

Experience Requirements:

  • Procurement related experience
  • Previous category & project management experience
  • Sourcing experience within the electronics industry
  • Familiarity of working in the manufacturing industry

The Successful Candidate:

  • Is a good communicator and holds strong presentation skills
  • Has strong negotiating and interpersonal skills
  • Is an ambassador of change and the ability to influence at all levels
