Your new company
Our client is one of Northern Ireland’s largest employers who have been in operation across the province for c.50 years. Due to the size of this organisation and their continued growth they require a Building Maintenance Officer to assist their Estates Division.
Your new role
This position is based in Belfast where the successful candidate will be expected to oversee and provide input on a range of minor works and maintenance projects across Northern Ireland.
You will have responsibility for all aspects of Estates / Facilities management to a large number of buildings including planned maintenance, reactive maintenance, minor new works, H&S, contract management and management of an allocated budget.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role you must possess:
A minimum of an HND in building surveying or a similar discipline;A minimum of 3 years’ experience post-qualification working within facilities management or construction; Experience of managing external consultants and contractors;Experience of site supervision of maintenance work and minor projects.
What you'll get in return
You will be paid weekly every Friday via BACS.37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.Hybrid working pattern between home and a modern office with on site car parking.
