The Role

As a Senior InfoSec Specialist, you'll have a role that is out of the ordinary. You will support the delivery of cyber security improvement initiatives throughout our clients group by working directly with the programme leadership team. Your knowledge of cybersecurity, information security, and strong interpersonal management skills will be crucial in this role. Using your excellent understanding of the information security discipline, you will ensure the programme team maintains a focus on continuous improvement and develops improvement solutions in response to security issues and problems.

Day-to-Day, You Will:

  • Design and deliver InfoSec improvement solutions in response to security issues and problems.
  • Provide SME InfoSec advice and guidance to both technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Oversee audit and compliance reporting of technological upgrades, improvements, and major changes to the information security environment.
  • Define Information Security training needs, ensuring our clients teams retain a focus on technical excellence.
  • Liaise and provide advice to wider senior management community about technical information security risks, mitigations, and associated compliance risks.
  • Assist the programme team to develop a security culture and awareness of Information Security through direct user communications.


Essential Experience of the Senior Infosec Specialist

  • An excellent understanding and experience of Security techniques and InfoSec principles.
  • Considerable experience of delivering effective Security in a complex, regulated, and security-critical business environment.
  • Highly capable of delivering Security projects and work packages, with demonstrable experience.
  • Experience with developing and maintaining security documentation (policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures).
  • Practical experience of security and IA implementation within Industry (and MoD).
  • Excellent knowledge of InfoSec accreditation and a wide range of security standards.
