Meraki Talent’s leading client is looking for a Commercial Bid Manager to join their growing team to get involved in the production of commercial proposals that reflect customer requirements and assist the business in meeting KPIs. A key stand alone role for the business, reporting directly to the head of, our client is looking for someone who can work with autonomy and has a strong grasp of the written word. Our client is equally happy to hire a ‘rising star’ with a couple of years’ experience, or someone more experienced who is looking for more breadth and ownership in role, perhaps coming from an environment where they feel siloed. Responsible for managing bids throughout the end-to-end cycle, ensuring the business has the correct strategy, our client wants someone who is comfortable writing content, as opposed to ‘copying and pasting’ from a library.


Responsibilities of the Commercial Bid Manager:


- Ensure high quality bids/proposals are produced and submitted

- Fully coordinate, monitor and manage the end to end proposals process

- Contribute to the library and maintain the Tender Toolbox

- Work closely with colleagues to provide reporting on volume, value and outcomes

- Complete ITT’s, PQQs & RFIs

- Co-ordinating, monitoring and managing the proposal documentation production

- Organising qualification, kick off meetings and reviews


Background of the Commercial Bid Manager:


- Experience working as a Bid/Proposal/RFP Manager/Analyst

- Strong writing skills are essential. This candidate needs to be able to create original content (as opposed to ‘copy and paste’ from libraries

- Able to work with autonomy

- Strong commercial knowledge is imperative
