This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading, mid-market FS firm in their Healthcare M&A team, focusing on Healthcare Life Sciences deals with established firms.
The Opportunity:
This is an excellent opportunity to join the Healthcare Sector team as an Associate due to growth of the business and a very healthy pipeline of deals for the future. You will have the opportunity to work with high profile clients and indeed a high profile global team where you are able to gain extensive deal experience and develop your investment banking career.
- Full M&A execution
- Leading on execution of advisory and capital raising transactions
- Preparing and presenting marketing materials
- Building valuations and financial models
- Overseeing and challenging a very strong junior team
- Impart and gain a deep understanding of the Healthcare and Pharma sector
- Developing relationships across the Firm with other sector and product experts, and externally with clients and other professional advisors
Person Specification:
- Must have at least 4-5 years of Investment Banking M&A sell side execution experience in the Healthcare Life Sciences sector from a mid market Investment Bank, Big 4 Corporate Finance Team or boutique advisory house.
- Must have a scientific degree in BioChemistry or similar and very strong technical/financial modelling skills.
- Leadership qualities to oversee and challenge a very strong junior team
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
- Must be able to build rapport with clients
