Educational Consultant/Education Specialist

Location: Hybrid – You will usually be expected to work at least 3 days in the office (Newcastle-under-Lyme, ST5 9HX) when not at client sites.

Job Type: 12 months fixed-term contract, 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday managing your diary between the usual hours of 8am-6pm.

Salary: £35-£55k pa depending on experience, skill set and qualification level

Due to the nature of this role, a full driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred

Satori Education are looking for a dynamic and adaptable Education Specialist to join our team. This exciting role involves delivering training, providing consultancy services, managing client accounts, contributing to product development and overseeing project management.

What We’re Looking For:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education and technology, with a minimum of 3 years teaching experience.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Current or recent experience teaching or leading in primary, middle, special, or secondary education.
  • Passion for Learning: Demonstrated enthusiasm for education and the transformative potential of technology.
  • Interest in AI: Keen interest in Artificial Intelligence and its application in education.
  • Digital Proficiency: Deep understanding of either Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace for Education, with a willingness to learn both.
  • Engagement Skills: Ability to create engaging and educational activities for pupils across primary and secondary age ranges.
  • Presentation Skills: Confident in presenting to stakeholders and staff within educational establishments.
  • Driving Licence: Full driving licence.
  • DBS Check: Current DBS check.

Desirable Qualifications and Skills:

  • Leadership Experience: Experience in computing, digital, or professional development leadership.
  • NPQ Leadership Qualifications: National Professional Qualifications in leadership.
  • Coaching Qualifications: Relevant coaching certifications.
  • Google/Microsoft Educator Qualifications: Certifications from Google and/or Microsoft.
  • Carbon Literacy Accreditation: Accreditation in carbon literacy, either as an individual or trainer.
  • Additional Edtech Qualifications: Qualifications such as Apple Teacher.
  • AI in Education: Experience using or leading Artificial Intelligence initiatives in an educational setting.
  • Teaching Technologies: Proficiency with a range of teaching technologies, e.g., interactive panels and visualisers.
  • Interest in Sustainability: Commitment to sustainability and tackling climate change.
