One of my key clients is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electronics Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics design, development, and testing. This role requires a deep understanding of electronic circuits, components and systems, along with a proven track record of successful project delivery.

Role: Senior Electronics Engineer

Location: Norfolk

Sector: EV

As a Senior Electronics Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and testing of advanced electronic systems. You will lead projects, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and test electronic circuits and systems.
  • Lead the development of hardware from concept to production.
  • Perform detailed simulations and analyses to ensure design integrity.
  • Develop and implement test plans for validation and verification.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
  • Prepare technical documentation and reports.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in electronics design and development.
  • Proficiency in using CAD tools for schematic capture and PCB layout (e.g., Altium, Eagle).
  • Strong understanding of analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuit design.
  • Experience with microcontrollers, FPGA, and embedded systems.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with RF design and high-frequency circuits.
  • Knowledge of power electronics and battery management systems.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 and other quality management systems.
