Job Title: Golang Software Engineer


Location: London, UK


Job Type: Contract for Long-Term Engagement


Daily Rate: Open upto £600/day


Job Description:

We are seeking a talented Golang Engineer to join our team in London, UK, on a contract basis for a long-term engagement. As a Golang Engineer, you will play a crucial role in building tools to facilitate our customers' migration onto the platform we are developing. You will also be responsible for the development and maintenance of cloud-based infrastructure and applications, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop tools and utilities to assist customers in migrating onto our platform.
  • Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure and applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of components.
  • Implement best practices for scalability, security, and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve our development processes.


Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in Golang programming language.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure and applications.
  • Familiarity with Akamai, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
  • Strong understanding of authentication and authorization flows, including OAuth Token Exchange.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working on migration projects.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
  • Experience with microservices architecture.
