Responsibilities:

- Extend a warm and welcoming greeting to customers, consistently delivering exceptional customer service.

- Skillfully manage cashier transactions, assisting customers with daily banking needs such as cash, card, and cheque handling.

- Identify and address customers' needs, providing informed advice on our products and services.

- Efficiently open and manage personal and business accounts, while also facilitating loan and credit card facilities.

- Take complete ownership of customers' queries, guiding them through to resolution.

- Assist customers with the utilization of Magic Money Machines and Safe Deposit Boxes.

- Actively engage in store events and initiatives.

- Support new colleagues joining Metro Bank, potentially serving as their mentor.

Working Arrangements & Training:

Metro BankGuildford working arrangements are Monday - Friday, 9am - 5:30pm.

We will make sure you get the training needed to help you in this customer facing role, which will be a mixture of live teams sessions with a trainer, self study (including exercises and articles), and on the job training (such as observing, buddying up, and serving our customers). All of this training will be blended together, at a pace set between you and your manager.

Requirements:

- Ability to strike a balance between building strong customer relationships and meticulous attention to detail.

- Profound understanding of the risks associated with the role and their implications for both yourself and Metro Bank's customers.

- Proficiency in computer skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

- Capability to deliver outstanding customer experiences within a fast-paced environment.

- While prior experience in finance or banking is not always required, experience in handling customer service queries is essential.
