Role Overview:

My client is seeking an experienced and self-motivated Lead PHP Developer to oversee our entire development process. Initially, you will collaborate with our current outsourced development agency, taking over their responsibilities and progressively leading the recruitment and management of iOS and Android developers on a freelance/contract basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of the development process, ensuring seamless transition from the external agency.
  • Monitor and resolve bugs/crashes, ensuring the platform's stability and performance.
  • Develop and implement new features and functionalities.
  • Hire and manage freelance/contract iOS and Android developers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in PHP development.
  • Proven ability to lead development projects and manage a team.
  • Strong self-motivation and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working in our Greenwich office; hybrid arrangements can be discussed.
