Location: Near Heathrow Airport (2 days onsite, rest is WFH)

Contract: 4 months initially

Rate: £800 per day (Inside IR35, Umbrella)

Main scope:

Provide Solution Architect services to support the initial discovery phases of the Engineering SAP Futures Programme, through to business case and potentially beyond into delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and technical requirements.
  • Assess solution options against agreed technical requirements.
  • Develop and define the high-level solution architecture, including system components and integrations.
  • Ensure alignment of the solution architecture with business goals and IT strategy.
  • Prepare and present architectural blueprints and documentation to stakeholders.
  • Deliver comprehensive documentation outlining the high-level solution architecture, including components, data flows, and integrations.
  • Assess solution options against agreed non-functional requirements (including cyber requirements), relevant technical guardrails, and corporate IT Strategy.
  • Develop high-level technical design for the selected solution.
  • Outline migration strategies for the selected solution.
  • Identify and analyze technical risks with proposed mitigation strategies.

Requirements:

  • General SAP ECC knowledge and S/4HANA migration experience.
  • Exposure to core modules, particularly Aerospace & Defence and Materials Management, would be perfect.
