We are currently assisting our client, an international design firm, in finding their next Senior Ecologist.


Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting ecological assessments like Preliminary Ecological Appraisals and protected species surveys.
  • Collaborating with various disciplines in the design process.
  • Preparing technical reports for projects and managing sub consultants.
  • Assisting in fee proposals, marketing materials, and ecological requirements within tenders.


Role Requirements:

  • Experience in BNG calculations and reporting.
  • Proficiency in QGIS.
  • Knowledge of UK environmental policy and legislation.
  • Level 1 Class License for bat (or other species).
  • Strong botanical identification skills.
  • Formal qualifications in Ecology.
  • Be a full member of CIEEM.
