The role, in short: Remote position in UTC±4h. $80-130k/y, plus meaningful equity in the company. Be part of a small, energetic team who deeply care about craft and creating great work – and have fun doing it. 


We're looking for someone with:


Crucial:

  • Proficient in system architecture, capable of developing complete features from API conception to database design
  • Experience with Node.js, Typescript, and SQL databases (preferably Postgres)
  • Practical experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
  • Comfortable working with message queues and / or event-driven architectures (e.g. SQS / SNS, Pub/Sub, Kafka, RabbitMQ)
  • Experience with Docker
  • Familiarity with Redis
  • Excellent written communications skills (necessary for remote work)


Desirable:

  • Experience with Elasticsearch and search in general
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes and / or IaC (e.g. Terraform)
