About the Pub

The Prospect is a historic detached two roomed public house located on Moor Road in the Southeast Leeds district of Hunslet, a traditional working area where well-run wet led pubs can still thrive. The traditional tap room is decorated with memorabilia celebrating the history of Hunslet Rugby League club and is cosy and welcoming. To the left is the traditional public bar, with fixed seating round the edge of the room and decorated with Rugby League memorabilia. To the right is the smaller tap room that also has fixed seating around the edge of the room as well as loose seating; this room lends itself to weekend discos and karaoke events. There is a decked drinking area and shelter in the garden at the rear, ideal for additional trade during the warmer months. This traditional pub operates under a Beacon Tenancy agreement which allows the successful publican to offer a great range of drinks at attractive and competitive prices enabling their activity and retail standards to real shine out.
