iO Associates is looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to work with a renowned technical firm that specialises in producing high-precision electromagnetic instruments for the scientific and medical fields, they are looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer who will be involved in working within the current engineering team with other Design Engineers.
Required:
Degree in mechanical engineering, either a BSc or BEng.
Proficiency with 3D CAD software (alternative programmes may be taken into consideration, however Solid Works is the preferred option).
3 years minimum of industry experience working on manufacturing designs .
Responsibilities:
Utilising FEA tools, do mechanical design calculations and analyses.
Evaluate drawings and design outcomes; review component data and determine if it is suitable for DFM.
Using Solidworks to produce 3D designs and generate BOMs for the corresponding designs.
Managing a small team of designers and participating in hiring and team expansion.
