Footsteps Canwell Nursery & Pre-Schoo l is located on London Road in Canwell, on the border of The Royal Town of Sutton Coldfield. The nursery has fantastic transport links off of the A38, A453 and M6 Toll, conveniently situated we have easy access for surrounding areas, towns and villages such as Middleton, Drayton Basset, Bassets Pole, Reddicap Heath, Mere Green and Four Oaks.

This position would suit someone with previous nursery experience who has previously worked in a similar environment caring for children aged between 0 – 5 years. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated, enthusiastic nursery practitioner, who can work closely within a growing team, you should possess great communication skills and have a calm, approachable nature.

Responsibilities but not limited to:

- Deliver learning experiences and planned activities for a key group that provides outstanding opportunities for the children

- Work within a team to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the children

- Work in partnership with parents to ensure the outcomes for children are met

- Assess and report on children's progress to ensure continued development

- Be passionate, inspiring and work effectively within a team and have a hands on approach to your own professional learning and development

- To be fun, caring and friendly

- Understand and ensure that the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS are met

What we need from you?

- Passion and commitment for working in childcare

- Ability to work shifts between 8.00-6.00pm Monday to Friday working 40 hours per week

- Commitment to continual development

- Have sound Knowledge of EYFS

- NNEB, BTEC Nat Dip, CACHE Dip in Childcare, NVQ level 3, EY Educator
