CLASS 2 DRIVER

MONDAY - FRIDAY: 04.00 STARTS

£15.50 PER HOUR

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Lanark.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a well-known supplier of kitchens and bathrooms with plenty of ongoing work available.

Day to Day Duties

As a Class 2 Driver your duties will include:

  • Driving Category C Vehicles safely and efficiently to various sites
  • Daily Vehicle Checks
  • Delivery of Kitchens & Bathrooms to Customers Homes
  • Adhere to Traffic Laws & Regulations
  • Estimated 10 Deliveries a day

Essential Skills

As a Class 2 Driver you will:

  • Hold a valid UK Category C Licence (Class 2)
  • No more than 6 points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
  • Have a valid CPC & Digi Card
  • Effective communication skills
  • This is a physical role so you must be physically fit

Desirable Experience

  • Experience driving Category C vehicles desirable
  • Customer service experience

Training

  • 2-3 hour assessment
  • If assessment is passed, there will be one full week of training (site & classroom based)
  • As this is a very physically demanding role, manual handling and safe systems of work training will be provided
