About the Pub

The Anchor is a one bar community local opposite a Travelodge on a popular road from Wandsworth to Battersea. The pub is half a mile from the busiest train station in London, Clapham Junction, and is currently operating a good sports and events offer to attract the surrounding residents and passing trade. This well-kept pub has two internal areas with wooden flooring running throughout, and a lovely external area that wraps from the front to one side. The focal point of the Anchor is a horse shoe shaped bar surrounded by covers for 50. There are two entry and exit points for the general public that provides access to the two internal areas. Firstly, the front bar which boasts features such as a TV situated above a fireplace, and a dart’s board, creates the perfect environment for sports fans to comfortable socialise. The back bar has a cosier feel best for catching up with friends or enjoying a quiet drink. With its current track record of offering a varied wet-led selection, it is essential that the new publican has not only experience within this area but also with impressing the local customers.
