3 month contract (12 month extension option)
£545 - £585 per day
SC Cleared
Our consultancy client are on the lookout for a DevOps Engineer to deliver automated software components that form part of a development operations toolchain.
The key tools and platform experience the client is looking for are Gitlab, PowerShell and Azure to automate and manage various stages of the software lifecycle.
This role will be hybrid with 2-3 days per week on site
The Key Responsibilities of a DevOps Engineer:
- Transforming technical requirements into DevOps processes
- Manage service components to meet performance targets
- Manage all live test environments
- Understand and explain developing processes
- Design solutions and services, ensuring they are security control embedded
- Design, code, test and document programs and scripts
- Translate logical designs into physical designs
- Design systems by managing risk, and technical complexity
- Using both quantitative and qualitative data to turn user focus into outcomes
Below is a list of Key Skills required for the DevOps Engineer role, however you will not be expected to have everything:
- Gitlab
- Docker
- Cloudformation
- SharePoint
- Azure
- Devops Powershell
- Atlassian Ecosystem (jira confluence etc)
