Job Description: We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Site Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing day-to-day engineering duties on-site, including setting out and interpreting reinforced concrete (RC) drawings accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and implement engineering designs and drawings, particularly reinforced concrete (RC) drawings.
- Set out and mark positions for structures, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
- Liaise with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Conduct site surveys and measurements as required.
- Monitor construction progress and quality, identifying and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily reports, progress photos, and as-built drawings.
- Provide technical support and guidance to site personnel as needed.
Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer or similar role in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in setting out and interpreting reinforced concrete (RC) drawings.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and construction techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools, such as AutoCAD, Total Station, and GPS.
