Job Title: Full stack Developer (Java+React JS)

Hybrid work: 3 days a week

Capgemini is seeking a Full stack Developer (Java+React JS) to join Capgemini Financial Services Digital Practice. This is a permanent, full-time position in Manchester, UK and this represents a unique opportunity for someone to enhance their Digital Consulting career

What you’ll do and bring:

  • Design develop and maintain web applications using React js Implement user interfaces that are responsive visually appealing and performant Component Based Development
  • Create reusable and modular components using React js to enhance development efficiency and maintainability
  • Manage component state and props to build dynamic and interactive interfaces State Management Implement state management using React s built in state management or external libraries like Redux or MobX Ensure data consistency and manage application state effectively REST API Integration Integrate with RESTful APIs or GraphQL endpoints to fetch and update data from the server
  • Handle data fetching error handling and data synchronization
  • Third Party Libraries and APIs Utilize third party libraries and APIs to enhance application functionality e g Axios for HTTP requests Chart js for data visualization
  • Performance Optimization Optimize application performance by minimizing re renders and using virtual DOM Implement lazy loading code splitting and other performance optimization techniques Testing and Debugging Write unit tests and perform debugging to identify and resolve issues Perform thorough testing to ensure cross browser and cross device compatibility Version Control Use version control systems e g Git to manage source code changes and collaborate with team members Documentation Create and maintain documentation for code components and libraries Document code structure and provide usage guidelines for team members Collaboration Collaborate with designers back end developers and other team members to integrate front end components with back end systems Participate in project planning and agile development processes
