You'll work closely with the team and collaborate with an external electronics team to ensure smooth knowledge transfer, design integrity, and technical evaluations.

Position Overview

They are seeking an adaptable and resourceful Senior Electronics Engineer to join our team. As the primary electronics expert, you will take on the unique challenge of refining our system's electronics while being flexible enough to contribute to various non-electronics tasks within the team.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with the external electronics team to develop and refine system electronics.
Set up and manage internal systems for electronics design and schematics, using tools like Altium.
Troubleshoot technical challenges within the electromechanical system.
Ensure documentation of electronics design is up-to-date throughout the Verification and Validation (V&V) process.
Manage relationships with external providers, including component suppliers and PCBA manufacturers.
Support other areas of the business as needed.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:
Hands-on experience in electronics development within In Vitro Diagnostic (IVD) devices or a similar highly regulated industry.
Strong understanding of relevant standards, including ISO13485, IEC 61010, and IEC 60601.
Experience with: Motor control, including stepper and DC brushed motors.
Temperature control using resistive heaters and Peltier devices.
Optical systems involving LEDs and photodiodes.
High-speed interfaces such as MIPI-DSI, SDRAM, and USB.
Familiarity with electronics simulations, particularly using SPICE.
Experience in designing electronics for manufacture and test.
Comprehensive understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes for both flexible and rigid PCBs.
Ability to produce and review documentation necessary for medical device submissions.
Broader engineering skills to contribute beyond the electronics subsystem, ideally including software for task automation and knowledge of mechanical, thermal, or optical systems.
