MacGregor Black is currently partnering with a leading Gifting and Beauty company, on the search for an Account Manager. This is a permanent role based in Southwest of England.
As the Account Manager, you will serve as the main point of contact for the retailer and brand partners, cultivating robust professional relationships with key stakeholders within our licensed and exclusive portfolio. Your responsibilities will include managing key accounts, identifying, evaluating, and securing new business opportunities. By collaborating closely with all stakeholders and cross-functional teams, you will drive sales and profit growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with retailers and brands, effectively communicating the company’s innovative, creative, and effective solutions and the benefits of partnering with us.
- Guide retailers and brands through the development process, managing stakeholders effectively, and ensuring alignment with development timelines and the company’s commercial objectives.
- Foster trust through excellent communication and regular review meetings to build strong networks.
- Drive sales growth to achieve annual brand/account sales targets by proactively seeking new business opportunities. Understand the market landscape, competitor activities, and retailer strategies to leverage existing and create new opportunities.
- Maximise profitability of individual product lines and collections through precise commercial control, achieved via close collaboration with internal project teams and strong negotiations with retailers to meet both company and retailer margin expectations.
- Manage account administration, including preparing and managing working line lists, pricing, and NLF management of product lines.
What are we looking for?
- Proven track record in a Business Development role.
- Experience in Consumer Goods sector, preferably within the Gifting/Health & Beauty industry.
- Expertise in managing and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, including retailers and internal teams, to foster long-term partnerships.
- Proven ability to secure new business opportunities with a strategic approach to expanding our licensed and exclusive business.
- Ability to remain composed and effective in a fast-paced, dynamic, and high-intensity environment while maintaining focus on objectives.
