The SEO Manager is responsible for coordinating and implementing SEO & SEM strategies

for the business. The correct person will be goal oriented, possess exceptional attention to

detail, and have outstanding technical SEO skills. This is a role that is working closely with

the Ecommerce and Marketing teams, to make sure that the goals of the business are

achieved.

Key Areas of Responsibility

Growth Drivers

● Keywords: New and existing keyword optimisation. And daily monitoring/optimising

of winners/losers.

● Content creation: Research content, to be created, then optimise.

● On-Page SEO: Directly edit site pages.

● Link building: Directly generate links and manage backlink profile.

● Outreach: Research topics and targets for larger campaigns/PR activity.

● Technical SEO: Run regular crawls and monitor tools submitting technical SEO tasks

to offshore development team to complete.

Enablers

● Ensure the correct SEO tools are employed and configured correctly.

● Daily analysis of performance with daily actions taken.

● Provide reports as required.

● Own and maintain the SEO plan for UK/IE.

● Identify resource gaps as appropriate.

Professional Skills & Qualifications

● 5+ years’ experience in Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Search Engine

Optimisation (SEO)

● Experience working within Ecommerce & CMS platforms (Magento & Wordpress) an

advantage

● Knowledge of HTML/CSS and website administration an advantage

● Knowledge/experience of other digital marketing channels (email optimisation, social

media, affiliate, display etc. an advantage)

● Experience with website analysis using a variety of analytics tools including Google

Analytics as well as internal reporting tools

● Knowledge of PPC programs/campaigns and optimising data gathered from both

organic and paid sources

● BS/BA degree / higher education qualification in relevant discipline

This role is based on site 5 days a week
