Aramark UK is looking to hire an experienced and dedicated Sous Chef to join theHospitality and Fine Diningteam in the heart of Central London for our Global Client. This is an exciting, permanent, and full-time opportunity reporting into our Executive Chef.

Home to more than450people onsite for the clients global headquarters in St. Jamess Square in Central London. The site accommodates the board and executive management, together with the key corporate and business functions teams. Responsible for delivery of our fine dining food services throughout the day, and bespoke events. You will have the opportunity to be involved in our constant innovation and evolvingculinary experiences.

Food safety and high standards of cleanliness will also be a key focus for you. Whilst this is a Sous Chef position, the scope of the role and the size of the operation could appeal to an existing Head Chef looking to progress within a large and exciting business.

  • Monday Friday only , between 7am - 5pm, no weekends or late nights. There will be the odd dinner till 8pm, once every quarter.

A day in the life of a Sous Chef:

  • In the absence of theSeniorChef, assume responsibility for the overall kitchen operation
  • Menuwriting andplanning
  • Help oversee the general production of breakfast, lunch and dinners
  • To maintain food hygiene, service & presentation to a high standard
  • Support with managing the P&L and all associated financials
  • Deliver first class food throughout service
  • Manage all associated administration
  • To manage and champion daily and weekly cleaning schedules
  • Ensure compliance of all processes and procedures, including daily and weekly checklists and cleaning schedules

You will be set up for success if you have:

  • Relevant culinary experience operating at a Sous Chef or Head Chef level
  • A passion for food and service
  • Fine dining and menu writing experience
  • Flexible approach to hours and duties
  • IT literate, numerate and able to communicate across cross discipline stakeholders
  • Security vetting will be required
