The Sprat and Mackerel offers an exciting proposition for a new publican to be part of a full internal and external redevelopment of this prominent site positioned on Brixham harbour side.

Regional Manager's Thoughts

The Sprat & Mackerel is an extremely attractive traditional one bar pub with seating overlooking a working harbour. There is a traditional bar servery, serving both the main bar area and the small snug which is located to the rear, complete with a cosy fireplace and lounge furniture. The pub benefits from a fully fitted modern trade kitchen that can deliver a mid-market menu. Seating is available for approximately 15-20 customers.

Surrounding Area

Brixham is a coastal town that forms part of Torbay and sits across the bay from the city of Torquay, surrounded by the beautiful Devon countryside. The town is hilly and built around its harbour which is still used by fishing trawlers. The area is popular with tourists during the summer season and towns such as Dartmouth, Dartmoor, Exeter and Plymouth are within easy reach, and journey times have been reduced with the opening of the South Devon link road. Nearby attractions include Paignton Zoo, Leonards Cove Holiday Park and Torquay United Football Club.
