Title: Adult MASH & DoLS Operations Manager
Department: Population and & Wellbeing
Division: Adult Social Care
Responsible to: Head of Service, Safeguarding, Quality & Professional Standards
Purpose of post:
To lead the Safeguarding Triage and Screening team, as part of Adult Social Care’s Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) and the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS) functions of ASC. To manage the resources and budget allocated for both services and monitor, review and drive good practice standards and outcomes for adults at risk, in accordance with the Care Act 2014 and the Statutory Guidance.
To assist in the development, co-ordination and maintenance of all arrangements relating to Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS), to help ensure a high standard of service delivery that promotes the best interests of individuals in a proportionate way.
Fundamental to fulfilling the responsibilities of this post is the ability to respond positively and successfully to the ever changing pressures and nature of safeguarding and DoLS, providing professional support to staff, professionals, adults, carers and families across the Borough
