About the Pub

Right on the main road as you drive through the village, the Patriots is a great pub to start your exploration of the Marlborough Downs Plenty of space inside that can be zoned off for various uses and events , making it really adaptable Large garden and carpark all adding to the potential. Great little village that really support the pub

Regional Manager's Thoughts

Bit of a blank canvass this one Has seperate bar and restaurant areas that could be repurposed, or kept the same to further the food offer. Stacks of opportunity, large garden, roadside setting . I would see the site as a 50/50 food and drink business Barbury Castle and Barbury shooting school close by, great potential for drawing in new customers

Chiseldon is a village and civil parish in the Borough of Swindon, Wiltshire, England. The village lies on the edge of the Marlborough Downs, a mile south of junction 15 of the M4 motorway, on the A346 between Swindon and Marlborough

There are two pubs in the parish: the Patriot's Arms in the village, and the Plough Inn on the main road north of the village. There is also a social club.

Current local shops include a small newsagent, a hairdresser, a small supermarket and a petrol station. The small supermarket was an army barracks before it was converted into a shop.
