About the Pub

The Star Inn is a great community pub in Hoyland that has just had a refurb and looks beautiful for the right operator.

The inside of the pub has lots of seating which is perfect during the week, but also has a great DJ/band area making the pub adaptable during busy weekends and for live music events.

The pub is known for its great range of lager and spirit range. The pub offers excellent sports viewing and is a huge part of what makes this pub what it is

One of the great things about the Star is the beer garden at the back of the pub so customers can enjoy the summer sun.

Additionally, the star has a large car park at the rear of the premises.

The Star hotel is at the top of Hoyland and deserves a real dynamic operator who can develop all aspects of this business and keep driving this business forward. Someone who can drive daytime trade and develop a sport offering.

Maximising the pub to switch to late night on a weekend will be a key feature of this site and it has a big weekend trade. The operator will need to work closely with licensing to build strong relationships to ensure a safe and compliant business whilst maximising the full license.
