What will you be doing?

As a

Mass Properties Engineer , you will utilise your expertise in mass properties of metallic and composite structures and systems to track and control component masses, ensuring they meet project requirements. You will manage modification packages on

Aerostructure

and estimate Engineering Performance Test (EPT) results for analysis. Collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to the development of next-generation components and ensure overall project outcomes are efficient and aligned with goals.

Your main responsibilities will be:
Utilize expertise in mass properties of metallic and composite structures and systems to analyse, track, and control component masses to meet project requirements.
Manage modification package on Aerostructure, ensuring efficient outcomes aligned with project goals.
Demonstrate interest in and previous work on next-generation components, contributing innovative solutions to project challenges.
Estimate Engineering Performance Test (EPT) results for analysis and decision-making processes.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives, maintaining open communication channels and fostering teamwork.

Qualifications

Experience, skills and qualifications required:
Minimum

5 years

of experience in mass properties engineering within the

aerospace

industry.
Proficiency in CATIA and Microsoft Office Suite for data analysis and reporting.
Familiarity with whole aircraft mass properties and related regulatory requirements.
Previous Airbus approval experience is desirable but not mandatory.
Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
UK national or SC clearable for military projects.
Flexibility to adapt to varying contract requirements and project timelines.
